I consider myself privileged and grateful for everything I have in my life. God has been kind, and I am blessed with luxuries and opportunities that many only dream of. With this sense of gratitude, I have always tried to live with humility and purpose.

Teaching is not just my profession but my identity. After marriage, I took teaching as a full-time career and devoted myself to shaping young lives. Over the years, I have taught senior classes, mentored countless students, and worked towards building not only academic excellence but also strong values and ethics in them. I grew from being a teacher in my school to heading the English Department. Alongside teaching, I also ventured into writing, and publishing my first book The Lantern of Little Things was one of my proudest milestones.

Born and brought up in a defence family, I studied in Kendriya Vidyalayas across different states of India. This constant movement was sometimes a challenge, but it shaped me into a flexible, adaptive person with a deep sense of belonging to my country. Entering the teaching profession also came with challenges of balancing home and career, learning leadership roles, and handling responsibilities. Another turning point was stepping into the world of writing. It was not easy to balance teaching with writing, but my passion gave me the courage to begin.

My journey has been decorated with several recognitions. Some of the honours include:

Honorary Doctorate

Best Teacher Award by Kota Sahodaya

Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Award by KenBridge School

Excellence in Education Award at Dubai by Education 2.0 Conference

Bharat Gaurav Ratna Samman

Teacher of the Year Award by Diva Planet Magazine

Mentions and features in Hindustan Book Records, JJ Crown Magazine, and Cosmic Inception Magazine

These awards are special, but what gives me the greatest pride is when my students succeed, not only in studies but also in life.

I have always believed in giving back to society through education and awareness. I contribute by guiding students in cultural programs, literary activities, and awareness drives. My mentorship help my students to the at their best. I try to create spaces where knowledge, creativity, and values flourish together.

I was born in a defence family, where discipline, patriotism, and resilience became part of my personality. My parents and siblings were my constant source of positivity. Later, after marriage, I found the same encouragement from my husband. Today, I proudly say I have two families—one at home and one at my workplace. Both have shaped me into who I am. I am also grateful to my mentors, colleagues, and friends who never let me settle for less and encouraged me to keep striving.

My journey is still ongoing. Teaching and writing are my twin callings, and I am determined to keep growing in both. I believe life is not about achieving perfection but about touching lives, inspiring others, and staying thankful for every blessing.
