Hemant R Pradeep, Founder of Maaltee Films Entertainment, has spent more than three decades shaping stories across television, cinema and digital platforms. Today, he is preparing to embark on an exciting new chapter with the launch of Maaltee Music Labs, a music label dedicated to artistic excellence and the discovery of emerging talent.
Born into a family deeply connected with education and literature, Hemant R Pradeep is the son of the Late Shri Rajendra Pradeep, one of Haryana’s most respected educationists and an acclaimed Urdu short-story writer. His father’s intellectual and literary influence played a significant role in nurturing his creative instincts from an early age.
After earning his B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in Psychology, HemantR Pradeepbegan his professional career as a lecturer at a degree college. However, his passion for storytelling soon inspired him to enter the world of media and entertainment, leading to the establishment of Maaltee Films Entertainment, which has since grown into a respected name in the industry.
Over the years, Hemant R Pradeep has produced a diverse range of television serials, advertising films, documentaries, reality shows, talk shows, and feature films in both Hindi and Haryanvi languages. His versatility as a producer, director, and writer enabled him to collaborate with some of India’s leading production houses, including Balaji Telefilms, Cinvestas, Anushka Images, and The Indian Television Academy (ITA)& many more.
As a freelance director and writer, he has been associated with several iconic television productions that became household names across India, including KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi, KasautiiZindagii Kay, Kusum, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai andVivaah. These landmark projects not only established his creative credentials but also gave him a deep understanding of audience engagement across generations.
His contribution to storytelling extends beyond television. Hemant R Pradeep Produced & Directed the Hindi feature film “Mmirsa”, inspired by the legendary Punjabi folklore of Mirza-Sahiba, featuring celebrated actors KabirBedi, Ravi Kishan, Ranjeet and Farida Jalal. More recently, he Produced & Directed the Haryanvi feature film “JaanlevaIshq” for Stage App OTT, reaffirming his commitment to regional cinema and culturally rooted narratives.
Having successfully built a legacy in film and television production, Hemant R Pradeep is now turning his attention toward what he believes is one of the most influential creative forces in society—music.
Scheduled for launch in August–September 2026, Maaltee Music Labs is envisioned as a platform where talent, creativity, and meaningful artistry can flourish. The label will make its debut with an ambitious catalogue of 21 original songs, spanning multiple genres and featuring a blend of established voices and promising new artists. Several songs will also feature performances by renowned Bollywood singers.
