Raunak: Building Oriné— Reimagining How the Next Generation of Designers Learns, Connects & Grows

Raunak Babbar , a young entrepreneur, designer, and artist manager, is the founder of Oriné, a one of a kind free pan-design platform created with one simple goal: to help young designers learn, connect, and grow.

With a background in design and experience in the creative and music industry, Raunak saw a gap between what students learn and the knowledge they can gain from people who are already working at the highest level of the creative industry. This led to the idea of Oriné.

What is Oriné?

Oriné brings together all major fields of design, including architecture, interior design, fashion, graphic design, product design, textile design, visual communication, and other creative disciplines.

The platform focuses on creating opportunities for students and young designers to learn directly from experienced professionals through masterclasses, conversations, mentorship, workshops, industry interactions, and collaborations.

One of the main ideas behind Oriné is to connect young designers with leading professionals from different design fields across India and around the world. Instead of only talking about their projects, these sessions focus on understanding their journey, experiences, creative process, challenges, design thinking, and the way they see their field.

The aim is simple: learn from the best and give the next generation a chance to think differently.

Oriné recently hosted a masterclass with renowned architect Ludwig Godefroy, giving students the opportunity to interact with him and learn directly from his experience and approach to design. More conversations with professionals from different creative fields are being developed a the platform continues to grow.

Learning Without a Price Tag

One of the most important parts of Oriné is that everything is free for students and young designers.

Raunak believes that a student’s ability to learn should not depend on how much they can afford. Oriné therefore focuses on creating free learning opportunities, making industry knowledge and exposure accessible to a much wider community.

The platform also aims to create a strong design community, where young creatives from different disciplines can connect with each other, collaborate, discover opportunities, find mentors, and share their work.

More Than Just Design Education

Oriné is not being built simply as another educational platform. Its larger vision is to create a global design community where knowledge can move freely between experienced professionals and the next generation.

Raunak’s experience across different creative industries also influences this vision. Alongside building Oriné, he has worked as one of India’s youngest artist managers and is a GRAMMY U member, giving him exposure to the music and entertainment industry as well.

However, Oriné remains focused on one core purpose: creating better opportunities for young designers to learn from the people who have already walked the path they are beginning.

The vision is to build a platform where a student from anywhere can have access to the same kind of conversations, knowledge, and inspiration that could otherwise take years to find.

Oriné is about learning from the best, connecting with the right people, and helping the next generation grow – completely free.
