For Manav Zambad, the journey into the diamond industry wasn’t backed by generations of family experience or an established jewellery business. As a first generation entrepreneur, Manav knew one thing from the beginning before selling diamonds, he needed to understand them.
He enrolled in professional diamond grading courses at GII, where he learned the technical aspects of natural diamonds, including the globally recognized 4Cs. Wanting to understand the business beyond textbooks, he continued his education at the Soni Institute, where he gained practical knowledge about rough diamond assortment, pricing, valuation, buying, selling, and how the diamond market operates on a day-to-day basis.
Those experiences gave him confidence, but they also made him realize something important.
The jewellery industry was changing. Customers were becoming more aware, more informed, and increasingly interested in jewellery that reflected their own personality instead of choosing from ready made showroom collections. Retailers too were looking for reliable partners who could provide quality products, transparent pricing, and customized manufacturing.
That realization became the foundation of DIHA DIAMONDS.
In March 2024, Manav founded DIHA DIAMONDS with a clear vision to build a company specializing in natural diamonds, precious gemstones, and customized jewellery while maintaining complete transparency in quality and sourcing.
Instead of investing in a traditional retail showroom, he chose a different path. DIHA DIAMONDS operates through a customized business model, where every jewellery piece is created according to the customer’s requirements. From engagement rings and bridal jewellery to everyday wear and exclusive designer pieces, every creation begins with an idea and is crafted specifically for the person who will wear it.
Alongside customized jewellery, the company also supplies polished natural diamonds and precious gemstones to jewellery retailers and industry partners, helping businesses source certified products with confidence.
Starting a business without a family legacy wasn’t easy. Every client had to be earned. Every order had to speak for itself. There were no shortcuts only consistency, honest communication, and delivering exactly what was promised.
