Before entering business, Mayank had a very different dream. He wanted to become a cricketer and gave his best to the sport. He was even selected for the U-16 Baroda team and remained connected to cricket for a few years, also playing at the college level. Cricket taught him discipline, patience, and the mindset of never giving up. Like many young dreamers, however, he also saw the harsh reality that talent alone is not always enough. That phase of life shaped his mental strength deeply. Inspired by his favourite player Virat Kohli, Mayank carries the same fire, confidence, and fighting spirit in his personality and even expresses that admiration through tattoos.
Academically, Mayank completed his B.Com and later joined MBA, but dropped out in the first year because life gave him another direction. After college, he worked in different jobs and explored many fields. From HR roles connected with big names and departments, to SIM card selling, Flipkart delivery, Zomato delivery, banking-related work, loan processing, Xerox, and account opening services, Mayank experienced the ground reality of earning and surviving. These were not easy years, but they became the real classroom that taught him business, customer dealing, and resilience.
Despite having zero prior experience in the mobile and electronics industry, Mayank took a bold step and started building his own path. Supported by his family, and coming from a background where his father was already in the jewellery business, he slowly entered the market, began with mobile accessories, and kept learning through action. Within a short time, he moved ahead, purchased a shop, faced setbacks, waited through difficult months, and then finally transformed it into a proper mobile and electronics showroom. That turning point became the foundation of Nakoda Mobile & Electronics, a brand that now stands for trust, quality, and customer-focused service.
Today, Mayank is not just selling mobile phones, electronics products, and home appliances he is creating trust in the local market.
