Where It All Started

The journey of Shubham Kalra did not begin in a boardroom. It began in a college classroom.

While pursuing his Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA), a jury member noticed his work during his first year,  and encouraged him to take on freelance projects. What started as a small creative opportunity quickly opened his eyes to how the industry actually functioned and what was broken about it.

As he handled freelance assignments, Shubham Kalra began noticing a pattern. Clients were paying mediators close to ₹30,000 for design projects, while the actual creators doing the work were often paid just ₹1,000 to ₹3,000. That gap between who creates value and who captures it became his turning point.

Instead of staying a freelancer, he decided to build something of his own. That decision led to MoodMockups, his first startup. A design-focused agency built on one straightforward belief: deliver strong creative work through a fair and structured business model. MoodMockups became the foundation of Shubham Kalra’s entrepreneurial journey and laid the groundwork for everything that followed. Later, before completing his MBA, the experience of running MoodMockups had already shaped how he thinks about businesses with structure, with intention, and always with an eye on long-term value.

Branditify: The Flagship

At the core of everything today is Branditify, the 360-degree digital solutions company, officially Branditify Studios Private Limited, founded by Shubham Kalra and built as the foundation of his larger business direction.

Branditify works with businesses across industries and delivers end-to-end digital growth. This includes website development, UI/UX design, brand identity, social media management, content, and digital strategy. What sets Branditify apart is the integrated approach. Web, branding, content, and marketing are treated as one connected growth system, not separate services sold in isolation.

Under Shubham Kalra’s leadership, Branditify has grown from a creative setup into a structured, results-first company with a client base that keeps expanding. The agency that started with design roots now operates as a full-scale digital growth partner – every service built to deliver outcomes, not just output. For anyone searching Branditify online, the name Shubham Kalra quickly becomes linked with clarity, execution, and measurable impact.

A Growing Portfolio of Brands

Beyond Branditify, Shubham Kalra has built and is actively involved in a growing set of ventures, each one carrying the same core approach.

ClothingSutra is his newest venture, co-built with his father, Mr. Jayant Kalra. It is a digital-first fashion eCommerce brand focused on curated collections for women. Still early stage, but being built with the same discipline that defines Shubham’s work – structured, patient, and positioned for long-term growth.

Alongside, Shubham Kalra is also involved with Brandocrat, Tranxo, and Moodmockups  creative and tech-led ventures that operate in a similar space to Branditify while serving different client segments. The goal across all of them is consistent: keep execution strong while building multiple tracks of sustainable growth.

Looking ahead, Shubham Kalra is set to co-found an upcoming wellness-focused consumer brand. The name and details are currently private, but the move reflects his clear intent to build directly in strong consumer markets, not just support them from the outside.

At the same time, Shubham Kalra is working with Ruchi Kataria on Aurum Elixir, a handcrafted skincare brand preparing for a pan-India rollout very soon. The brand combines traditional craftsmanship with modern digital positioning and is already generating quiet anticipation ahead of its launch.

Every venture in the Shubham Kalra portfolio has been built without external funding. The focus has always been stable systems and strong early traction first. Fundraising may be explored in the coming year, but only once the foundations are solid enough to scale responsibly.

This is the philosophy that defines his entire journey. While many founders fixate on valuation, Shubham Kalra stays focused on brand positioning first. Branditify keeps growing. ClothingSutra is finding its footing. Aurum Elixir is ready for launch. The wellness brand is under preparation. Each step measured, each move intentional.

For Shubham Kalra, diversification is not about launching random businesses. It is about building multiple brands with one clear direction, strong branding, strong digital, and long-term value.

The journey is still growing. But the direction is clear. Shubham Kalra is not building for short-term attention. He is building for long-term impact.
